Sarah Kitchner, Development Operations Manager

Sarah Kitchner is excited to join Texas Hillel as the Development Operations Manager! Originally from New Jersey, Sarah recently completed two years as an Innovation Springboard Fellow at Mizzou Hillel, where she discovered a passion for building Jewish community while creating the systems and processes that help it thrive.

Sarah graduated from Suffolk University in Boston with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a minor in Graphic Design. During college, she served as Vice President of Suffolk Hillel, where she discovered just how much Hillel can shape a student's college experience and create a true sense of belonging. That experience inspired her to continue building Jewish community as a Springboard Fellow, where she found joy in helping students connect, supporting her team behind the scenes, and creating the foundation that allows meaningful experiences to happen.

At Texas Hillel, Sarah is excited to work alongside the incredible staff, students, board members, alumni, and donors. She loves bringing order to big ideas, finding creative solutions, and creating systems that help teams succeed so they can focus on what matters most building relationships and community.

Outside of Hillel, Sarah is an avid runner and enjoys exploring new coffee shops, traveling, needlepointing, and spending time with friends and family. She's excited to call Austin home, find the city's best breakfast tacos and coffee shops, get to know the incredible students and community that make Texas Hillel so special, and officially trade "M-I-Z" for "Hook 'em!"
