Hasbara Fellowship
16 days of pro-Israel education in Israel, on winter and summer breaks. The goal of the Hasbara program is to educate, train and motivate university students to be passionate, dedicated and effective pro-Israel advocates on their campuses. Every student with at least 2 semesters ahead of him on campus is eligible. Dates for next trips:Â December 18th, 2011 – January 2nd, 2012 or December 25th, 2011 – January 9th, 2012. Israel Pathways
“Inspirational”, “Life-changing”, “Incredible” are just a few of the phrases used by alumni of PATHWAYS to describe their Israel experience with Rabbi Trepp. PATHWAYS uniquely mixes the adventure and fun of touring Israel with the inspiration and meaning of learning about Judaism. The trip includes: Overnight tours of the north and south of Israel including the Golan Heights, Tzfat, Dead Sea, Masada and other exciting locations; Afternoon Excursions to exciting locations around Jerusalem and to other places within Israel including Tel Aviv; Inspiring and interactive seminars about various Jewish topics including: Jewish Philosophy, Jewish History, Israel, Anti-Semitism, And much more! Other short term programs
“Coexistence in the Middle East” – Academic tours on Israel, which promotes coexistence through the training of future leaders using both academic and experiential seminars in Israel that allow first hand contact with different cultures. These programs are sponsored by the Israel National Commission for UNESCO and taught by The International Institute of Leadership and the Rothberg International School at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. 1-4 weeks programs are available, academic credit will be offered for some versions of the program. http://coexistencetrip.net.
Career Israel - 3 months of professional internship program that provides internship placements in leading companies and organizations in the private and public sectors in Israel in every field you can think of. www.israelexperience.org.il/career//shorttrack/about.asp
Amirim – 4 or 8 weeks of meaningful volunteering or internship for non-profit organizations, in Arad, Bat Yam or Jerusalem. Students have the opportunity to earn college credit on the 8-week Jerusalem option. www.amirimisrael.com/
Magen David Adom - Volunteers are trained for one intensive week of study in Jerusalem and then work on ambulances in all of Israel’s major cities for 4-5 weeks. Perfect for pre-med students and anyone who wants to feel real Israel. www.mdavolunteers.com
Livnot Galilee Fellowship – 7 days of community service in Tzfat. Typical day features working in the morning with Israelis and your peers, hiking in the afternoon, fun and thought provoking programs in the evening. www.livnot.com/pages/NorthernExposure/
Kibbutz Ulpan - Participants work on a kibbutz for half of the week and study Hebrew in Ulpan for the other half. Accommodations are provided on the Kibbutz, as well as the meals and medical insurance. www.kibbutzprogramcenter.org/summerprograms.htm

Marva – Come and experience Israel as an Israeli soldier! The participants live and sleep in a real army base, and get military content such as navigation, field training, weapons training, shooting ranges, marches and more, as well as educational content such as: Zionism, Jewish Identity, history and knowledge of the land of Israel. www.marvaisrael.com
