Traveling with other students from the University of Texas campus and Austin area, you will explore the major sites of Israel and amazing places you didn’t even know existed. You’ll stand on a Roman road next to a Crusader fort in a Biblical city with your digital camera capturing the modern images of our ancient homeland. You’ll meet your Israeli peers and get to know the real Israel - hiking Masada, exploring the tunnels under the Western Wall, drumming with the Bedouin in their desert tents, and dancing in an Israeli nightclub will show you an Israel not seen on the nightly news.
Texas Hillel is offering 2 trips a year - one over winter break and one in the summer. Specific trip dates might change from year to year.
