Texas Hillel is pleased to participate in the Campus Entrepreneurs Initiative (CEI) and Senior Jewish Educator Initiative (SJE), in partnership with Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life and the Jim Joseph Foundation.
CEI and SJE together allow us to reach more students in more meaningful ways, helping to connect them to their Jewish identities.
Our thirteen CEI interns and MASA intern work with the Senior Jewish Educator and Director of Jewish Student Life in an intensive year-long program. Â They learn how to do peer-to-peer engagement, launch and sustain micro-communities and study Jewish texts.
One of our 2011-2012 interns is specifically charged with engaging students from Reform backgrounds, in partnership with the Union for Reform Judaism.
