Programs

Texas Hillel is the umbrella organization for much of Jewish life on campus.  We strive to inspire and engage thousands of college students from diverse backgrounds and help them acquire the skills to become the next generation of communal leaders by making enduring commitments to Jewish life.

.

Programming at Texas Hillel is based on student initiatives.  An ever-changing population of students creates the events and micro-communities t hat they find meaningful.  If you are a student and have an idea for a group or event, we can help you to make it happen (Tell us!).   The staff at Texas Hillel is here to support the students on their journeys and to help enrich lives along the way.  The five-member Student Executive Cabinet is here to help initiate and sustain our collective work.

This means that programming at Texas Hillel is always changing and growing.

In the past, we have been host to such groups as JiGLO (Jews in Greek Life Org), our own A Capella group, Talmud Study Thursdays, Hillel’s Hiking Horns, Women’s Rosh Chodesh, Jews with Trucks, and many many more.

What would you like to see become a part of Texas Hillel?  Let us know.
