Hi Caitlin! I remember Lent from clgeole. I had a dear Lebanese Christian friend who ALWAYS gave up all sweets (cookies, cakes, candies) along with a bunch of other things for Lent. Her family really believed you should feel it. Anyway, Lent falls around our holiday of Purim where I bake delicious cookies. It was always a battle for us. I really wanted her to try my cookies but she never could because of the timing!Writing is hard to give up. I understand not writing for work or reminders for work but I think of writing as pleasure.
